Three-dimensional echocardiography has completed its transition from a research tool to a clinically useful imaging modality able to provide valuable and unique information when addressing patient management. 3D Echo 360° has established itself as an exciting, cutting-edge workshop for all those who are interested in 3D Echo. A superb and experienced faculty coming together in Padua, Italy the city with one of the oldest Universities in the world, to offer a unique 3D Echo learning experience including lectures, hands-on sessions, live sessions and clinical cases. To meet the different educational expectations of attendees this year the workshop has doubled its educational offer by planning two parallel courses. The Basic 3D Echo Course designed for those who are at their first approach to 3D echocardiography or for those who want to know more about this technique before getting started. The Advanced 3D Echo Course designed for those who are already experts in 3D Echo and aim for an update on the most recent technological advancements and clinical uses of the technique.
This course has been designed for adult cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, cardiovascular anesthesiologists, fellows in training and cardiovascular sonographers. Attending the 3D Echo 360° workshop not only allows you to discover the latest technical solutions and software applications in 3D echocardiography, but also to try them out for yourself immediately.
Upon completion of this program, participants will be better able to:
In addition, if you are planning to buy a 3D Echo system, this is a unique opportunity not to miss out on! Come, check out and compare the latest 3D Echo systems and software applications on the market.
The workshop will start with a plenary session during which the program Directors will welcome the delegates and will explain the course organization and objectives. The Opening is followed by a lecture held by the Chief of the Cardiology clinic explaining the long and peculiar educational tradition of the School of Medicine of the University of Padua. The plenary session will end by the J.R.C.T. Roelandt honorary lecture held in memory of one of the pioneers and masters in cardiac ultrasound and, particularly, in 3D echocardiography.
